In confirmation of the story reported last week, Nicole and husband Keith Urban, both 39, have been trying for a child since they married in June last year. Now a friend has is quoted as saying they've managed it, they are both absolutely delighted that a little Urban junior is on the way.

Whitney Houston Granted Child Custody

Whitney Houston has been granted custody of her teenage daughter as her marriage to the singer Bobby Brown comes to an end.

She will look after 14-year-old Bobbi Kristina when her divorce becomes final on April 24th, superior court judge Franz E Miller ruled at Lamoreaux Justice Centre in California.

Brown's lawyer said he will appeal the decision.

A tearful Houston told the court that her estranged husband is "unreliable".

Aussie Actor Names Bon Scott as Dad

Australian actor, Alex O'Loughlin, has revealed he's the son of late ACDC frontman Bon Scott. The rocker is believed to have fathered a number of love children during the height of his fame in the mid 1970s, and O'Loughlin, who is set for his big break on US TV drama The Shield has come forward as one of them. Scott died in February, 1980 in London, England after choking on his own vomit while sleeping in a friend's car.

Mary Cheney Expecting a Democrat

Mary Cheney's first child is due next month – and it'll be a democrat, her father Dick revealed Wednesday.

"I'm delighted I'm about to be a grandparent for the sixth time," the Vice President, 66, told ABC News Radio, according to the Washington Post's column. "I'm looking forward to the arrival of a new grandson."

In December we learned that Mary, 38, and her partner, Heather Poe, 45, were expecting a baby.
